How do you log in through the Return Customer Log In?
A:
If you place an order or when placing an order for the first time and select New Customer. Fill out the required information and the next time you place an order, just go to Return Customer Log In and use your Username & Password and your shipping information, etc. will show up when checking out. And will save you time when submitting the order.
Q: Candle Burning
Burning candle & losing scent?
A:
Some candles are not scented the whole way through because the oils are just laying on the top. At Backroad Hobbies we stir each batch until it is blended with our high quality fragrance oils & color.
Q: Triple Scented Candles
Some candles are referred to as being triple scented. This is very poor advertising because candle wax can only hold a certain percentage of oil and if too much is added the oil will either come to the surface or lay on the bottom of the jar. And each scent is either a strong scent or light and by adding more oil than the candle wax will hold, it will not create a stronger smelling candle.

So this will prove that no candle is ever triple scented.
Q: Wax used in Candles
What mixture of wax do you use in the candles?
A:
Our wax is a mixture if of soy and paraffin wax; we created this blend to produce a wax that would allow a more strongly scented finished candle. Our candle wax mixture will allow a longer shelf life than straight soy. The combination of wax that we use makes a beautiful candle the scents are easily released during burning making a very fragrant candle. Another benefit of our wax is it produces a much longer burning candle.
Q: What will I pay for shipping?
What will my shipping costs be?
A:
The shipping costs will show up in our shopping cart when checking out. You can select USPS or UPS. Smaller shipments are usually cheaper shipped through USPS and larger shipments through UPS. We do not charge a handling fee. We can offer flat rate shipping through USPS, just email us as to how much we can ship in a flate rate box. The price for flate rate is $9.30.
We can also ship items to friends, family to save you shipping costs on gifts, etc.
Q: Wicks
Why is there a metal wire in the center of the wick?
A:
We only use zinc free wicks. We never use lead wicks, in fact they are not even on the market with candle & oil suppliers. Some of our products we do not use even zinc wicks but cotton.
